Puppet Theatre Returns!

For over 30 years now, the Museum at Campbell River has been delighting Campbell Riverites with its puppet theatre program, and this year is no exception. The program is massively successful, winning an award from the British Columbia Museums Association for its “creative use of the visual arts to imbue in the children of the community an appreciation of their history and culture.” This award winning puppet theatre program returns once again to explore the history of Campbell River with help from various beloved characters including Fred Nunns, Roderick Haig-Brown, and even the infamous Ripple Rock.

The puppets begin their shows at the Museum at Campbell River on Tuesday July 4th and will be performing every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30am and 1:30pm until August 24th. The cost is $2 per person and children aged 2 and under are free.

The Museum at Campbell River is located at 470 Island Highway. For more information regarding the puppet theatre call 250-287-3101 or visit us online at www.crmuseum.ca

Summer Programs at the Museum at Campbell River are funded in part by the Government of Canada.
