Campbell River Trivia Trek

Explore Campbell River with this self-guided exploration and tour to discover quirky facts from our past. Each stop encourages explorers to discover a different area of Campbell River.  At no cost, it’s a great activity for families or friends, or individuals looking to stretch their legs while learning something new.

Each stop on the Trivia Trek will explain the history of the area and have Our History signs that give more detail. These signs you’ll have to look for at the location. The Stops can be explored in any order so don’t limit yourself and just explore.

Museum at Campbell River respectfully acknowledges the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation, on whose traditional lands we work to preserve, interpret and share the collective human history of North Vancouver Island. The Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation is comprised of the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations. Our closest neighbors are the Coast Salish Xwemalhkwu, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations.

These nations have close connections to the land where Campbell River is located today.
