Festival of Trees

December 1 – 31, 2023. Join us for the annual Festival of Trees at the Museum. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and enjoy strolling through a forest of beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Each tree is sponsored by a local business and extravagantly decorated to create stories of magic, hope and awe. Stop by the Gratitude tree and leave a note of why you are grateful. Celebrate this community tradition with family and friends. The Festival of Trees is free to attend, open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm throughout the month of December.

Each year, visitors vote for entries in three categories: Most Elegant, Most Whimsical and Most Sustainable.

Museum at Campbell River respectfully acknowledges the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation, on whose traditional lands we work to preserve, interpret and share the collective human history of North Vancouver Island. The Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation is comprised of the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations. Our closest neighbors are the Coast Salish Xwemalhkwu, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations.

These nations have close connections to the land where Campbell River is located today.
