Mindfulness & The Creative Life Workshop

This two-hour workshop, offered twice, focuses on igniting the spark of creativity. Participants will learn some of the key principles that make up this unique approach to creativity. Through journal-writing, discussion, and responding to poetry, participants will prepare the ground for creative practice.

One workshop runs on Saturday, Sept 23 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and a second workshop is on Sunday, Sept 24 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. You can take one workshop or both if you like, it’s up to you.

Participants will leave with a set of strategies to integrate as they continue their journey, whether it involves a specific creative project or simply a renewed sense of wonder and appreciation for the daily opportunities that come our way to express who we are and the values that guide us.

The workshop is held twice so feel free to register for one or both. No charge for registration.

This is part of the Art+Earth Initiative presented in partnership with the Campbell River Arts Council and the Museum at Campbell River.

The Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation is comprised of the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations. Our closest neighbors are the Coast Salish Xwemalhkwu, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations.

These nations have close connections to the land where Campbell River is located today.
