Historical Puppet Theatre

Puppet Theatre characters featured in Historical puppet plays.

Every summer some of our favourite characters come alive and tell the story of people living in Campbell River and the surrounding region. These 20 minutes puppet shows highlight stories of the significant events, people, and what life has been like in the region over the past 100 years.

Each performance is followed by a hands-on craft that compliments the learning themes in the plays.

Shows are on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout July and August and cost $3 per person. Private performances can also be booked depending on availability.

Young people aged 3 to 6 years enjoy these shows the most, but all ages are welcome.

The puppets will be waking up for the first show on July 2, 2024.
