Kids Day at the Museum

Kids Day at the Museum

Kids Day at the Museum, on Wednesday July 17, is a free family event held at the Museum filled with puppet shows and multiple hands-on activity stations both inside and outside the Museum. It’s fun for the whole family with free admission and all sorts of fun stuff for kids to do. We encourage families to bring a lunch and have a picnic on the grounds of the Museum. Spend the day with us!

We also have other fun kids activities for the summer with:

  • Teddy Bear Picnic on August 14 from 11am to 2pm
  • Puppet Theatre every Tuesday & Thursday at 10:30am and 1:30pm
  • Blast from the Past Kids Camp from July 29 to August 2.

Museum at Campbell River respectfully acknowledges the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation, on whose traditional lands we work to preserve, interpret and share the collective human history of North Vancouver Island. The Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation is comprised of the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations. Our closest neighbors are the Coast Salish Xwemalhkwu, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations.

These nations have close connections to the land where Campbell River is located today.
