Chestnuts & Carols

Chestnuts & Carols December 14 at the Museum at Campbell River

Saturday, December 14 – We are thrilled to invite you to our annual FREE family holiday event, Chestnuts & Carols. We’ll have music, hot coco, and none other than Father Christmas himself! Gather ’round as he shares heartwarming stories that will surely make this holiday season even more magical.

The Italian Cultural Society will be here, generously offering delicious roasted chestnuts that will warm your tummy and fill the air with their irresistible aroma. It’s an experience your taste buds won’t soon forget!

We believe that the holiday season should be a time for spreading joy and love to all, and what better way to do so than by coming together in the midst of the Festival of Trees? The atmosphere will be nothing short of magical, with dazzling lights, beautifully decorated trees, and an abundance of warmth and cheer.

Museum at Campbell River respectfully acknowledges the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation, on whose traditional lands we work to preserve, interpret and share the collective human history of North Vancouver Island. The Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation is comprised of the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations. Our closest neighbors are the Coast Salish Xwemalhkwu, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations.

These nations have close connections to the land where Campbell River is located today.
