Consider Renewing Your Membership

Memberships to the Museum help support our work in preserving and sharing the history of North Vancouver Island. Funds raised through membership enable the Museum to offer engaging public and educational programs that bring local stories to life. Museums are essential spaces for community learning and engagement, with 96% of Canadians viewing them as vital for education. They stimulate the economy, attract tourism, and provide lifelong learning for people of all ages. As Ryan Hunt, Executive Director of the BC Museums Association, says, museums preserve the past, help us address important issues, and inspire a better future. Supporting museum membership is an investment in community and culture.

Memberships can be purchased through our website, in person and at the AGM.

Museum at Campbell River respectfully acknowledges the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation, on whose traditional lands we work to preserve, interpret and share the collective human history of North Vancouver Island. The Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ First Nation is comprised of the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations. Our closest neighbors are the Coast Salish Xwemalhkwu, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations.

These nations have close connections to the land where Campbell River is located today.
