Making Magic Summer Kids Camp

July 27 to 31, 2026

All over the world, the oldest stories are packed with fantastic creatures, daring heroes, and epic adventures—and now it’s your turn to make some magic of your own! At Making Magic, campers at the Museum at Campbell River will dive into the magical past and uncover the amazing, unbelievable (and sometimes hilarious!) true stories of Northern Vancouver Island.

Campers will let their imaginations run wild as they invent new creatures, dream up brave heroes, and explore fascinating stories through hands-on activities, games, and creative challenges. Whether they love storytelling, art, history, or just having fun with new friends, this camp is all about creativity, curiosity, and adventure.

Expect a week full of imagination, laughter, and museum-based fun in a welcoming and supportive environment. Camp Details:

  • Cost: $200
  • For kids aged 7 to 11 years old
  • Maximum of 20 campers
  • Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
  • Light snacks and juice boxes provided
  • Campers should bring their own lunch
  • Parents/Guardians will sign a waiver prior to the first day of camp

These nations have close connections to the land where Campbell River is located today.
