Beginner Beading Workshop

Join the talented mother-and-daughter team of Tideline Gallery for a hands-on introduction to beadwork. Artist Vicki Johnson, skilled in intricate beadwork, will guide participants in making a Flat Stitched Beaded Pin.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, Vicki will guide participants step by step in creating a beautiful flat-stitched beaded pin. Family-founded in 2005, Tideline Gallery showcases handblown glass by Toni Johnson and intricate beadwork by Vicki Johnson.

Whether you’re brand new to beading or looking to build your skills, this class offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect.

Each participant will receive:

  • A take-home pattern used during the class
    All supplies needed to complete one beaded pin
  • Clear step-by-step verbal and visual instruction
    A supportive and encouraging learning environment
  • Leave with a finished piece and the skills to continue your beading journey at home.

There will be a 30 min break for lunch. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch and any snacks they may want. Tea, coffee will be provided.

Time: 11:30 am to 4:30 pm
Cost: $57.50 +tax (includes all materials)

Location: Museum at Campbell River. Please note the workshop will take place in the foyer of the Museum.
