Festival of Trees

The Annual Festival of Trees at the Museum at Campbell River is an event where the community comes together to create something magical.

Each year businesses, organizations and individuals come forward to sponsor trees. Together, when they are all decorated, the Changing Gallery at the Museum is transformed into a winter wonderland.

Make a wish on the wishing tree, vote for your favourite for the People’s Choice Award, take some photos and just relax in the gentle glow of the twinkling lights.

The Festival of Trees is open daily in December (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day) from 10-5. Admission is free.

May to August 2021

Historic Boat Tours

The Museum at Campbell River will once again offer its summer historic boat tours in partnership with Discovery Marine Safaris.  Each trip explores the history of the region from the comfort of a 30-passenger boat that includes both indoor and outdoor seating areas, and an on board washroom.  As well as an experienced Captain, there is an on board naturalist who is constantly on the lookout for wildlife to point out, and a Museum Guide to share historic points of interest.
